John Guerra

Ontario Amateur Scout/Player Development

break Born and raised in Toronto, John has been involved in minor hockey for over 30 years. First as a player, then as a coach; coaching many teams at the AA and AAA levels. John has been involved in training young hockey players through power skating classes in and around the Greater Toronto Area, and continues to do so to this day. John has played Tier II hockey in Markham before attending Seneca College where he played three seasons with the Braves. John’s business career has included Civil Engineering, Office Management and Construction Superintendent. Measuring and evaluating a player’s commitment and passion as well as their over all skill is something John has uniquely acquired from being involved in the game for so long. John’s main goal at TPG hockey is to develop young athletes into elite hockey players and quality men, through guidance, support, and encouragement, while understanding the importance of a good family relationship.  John resides in Toronto with his wife Barbara and their two young athletes.
